Established in Miami in 1974, Jack R. Maro P.A. has been a strong legal force, throughout the State and Federal forums, for more than 47 years.

Jack has an extended Statewide presence in his criminal practice, that handles misdemeanors to first degree premeditated murder cases, as well as appeals, in both State and Federal Courts. He, selectively, and on a personal level, provides consultation to those interested in commercial matters and equine law.

Jack has been involved in commercial business endeavors, privately and through syndications, for over 47 years. He has been a devoted, successful thoroughbred horse breeder and owner over the past 25 years.

Jack R. Maro, Esquire, is licensed to practice in all State and Federal Courts located in Florida. In addition to having practiced in numerous State and Federal Courts, outside of the State of Florida, Jack is selectively admitted to practice before extensive National Federal tribunals, such as, but not limited to: U.S. Tax Court; U.S. Court Patent Appeals; U.S. Court of International Trade; U.S. Courts of Appeal:specifically, as a member, of the Second, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth and Eleventh Circuits.

In addition to having the specific skills, necessary to become a member of these courts, he maintains certifications to practice before the Southern, Middle and Northern District Federal Courts in the State of Florida, as well as the United States Supreme Court, a privilege that must be requested and granted.

Since receiving his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Miami in 1973, Jack’s criminal trial practice has taken him throughout the United States. He has represented clients in Courts stretching, coast to coast, and into Canada. He has been from New York to California; Louisiana to the State of Washington,and numerous other States, in between. All of these endeavors, have given rise to his, “Been there, done that and knows that” experience – all learned first hand.
